Contest/Event: Fishy Carnival
I'm way behind with submiting here :( So here is another one, originally from 8/2019
Primary I'm working on commissioned detailed illustration so it wasn't looking good for me to participate on this event... But I got idea right after it was published and when I finished the sketch (by strategy few lines here and there), I was so eager to finish it to colors *blushes* I couldn't decide which of my horses I should pick so I used all nagians I have :D As fish for inspiration I picked betta, that elegancy is just magical (or deadly :D yep, I know nothing about fish, just what google told me - we might be glad that there is only one male :D).
Oh my, mermaids are fun to draw/paint, I really should finish all needed and try the mermay challenge <3
Also, yay for watercolors without lineart :3
