Said I was gonna get back to posting, and I am! Here's a piece I did sometime last year, maybe April. This is one of my first paints, definitely working out the details still! But it was relaxing to do this one, and I'm glad that his darks didn't end up too dark, and that everything is decently defined and separated. Was all on one layer, started on a slab of mid-range blue (a tip given to me by the amazing OceanTiger11 !) and took maybe 4 or 5 hours, to my recollection, and not counting the plaque! I haven't done too much like this since, but I'd love to try again, especially experiment with grayscale, since that's technically what you're supposed to do anyways haha ;)
