I definitely enjoyed reading this.
While I was reading I was sidetracked from the funny by the people laughing at her in the supermarket, as well as the last sentence... but then I decided that, considering the subject, having those random interjections of "other" (other than comedic; other as in suddenly being slang/pop culture) fit in well with the rest of it.

Honestly, I couldn't decide what to go for here, so I went for both. It's actually pretty unpolished imo. There are a few lines in the third-to-last stanza (beginning with "She doesn't smell very nice.") that I'm still not quite satisfied with.
I'm glad to hear that the slang seemed to work. I sometimes have a hard time telling if I'm putting it all in the right place. :P
And of course, glad to hear you enjoyed it. ^ ^

I am feeling vaguely existential right now which means that I will not be able to connect with you on a meaningful manner. Furthermore, language is yet another way that meaning can be lost (in translation, so to speak), thus widening the disconnect I feel with you and other members of society.
This is not how I am actually feeling right now, and this is how I am feeling right now. It's a Schrodinger's Cat phenomenon.
And yourself?

So, if we're both feeling existential, can we still connect in a meaningful manner, or are our existential states incapable of coexisting? Like, two parallel states that never intersect as they approach infinity. Mathematicians -love- approaching infinity. Deep down, I think that's what everyone wants to do, really.
Oh, sorry! I'm feeling...dandy. :V

Mathematically speaking, two negatives make a positive. However, the same reasoning does not hold for physics: Two electrons do not make a proton.
This does not mean that the two electrons cannot coexist in the same universe, but it does mean that the two electrons have difficulty relating to one another. Specifically because negative particles repel other negative particles.
You're feeling dandy. And you've placed an emoticon after the statement. The amount of ambiguity, it is staggering.

I've always thought physics made more sense than math. Try combining the two and you get Indiana Jones surviving a nuclear bomb blast by hiding inside a refrigerator! I am not sure what that has to do with things.
Ambiguity is one of my favorite things, as if the mask wasn't a dead giveaway.
