Briar has a lot of references about, but I didn't have a single one for Ku! I couldn't let that stand, and though this was suppose to be a very quick ref, I ended up putting a bit more effort than i meant to into it.....

Tried to freeze the world in eternal darkness, failed, got fucked with and lost his memory, was taken in by the people who beat him, is now a much better person.
He did eventually regain his memory and was very upset about it. Did a bit of soul searching and a lot of therapy.
Is still in contact with his 'foster family', though it's been quite afew generations since his rehabilitation. They meet up for brunch sometimes.
