A Contract Penned by Quill- Pigeon TF Part 3/4
I think these two were some of the hardest images to draw in the sequence. Looks like the smog's letting up a bit, doesn't it? If only that could happen in real life...

Dovetail shut the briefcase and set the papers he was holding over the top. Rocky looked down, still glowing from the apparent "compliments" he'd received from the unknown investors, his misted vision skimmed over the contract, words and phrases jumped out at him, hardly registering meaning. "...Currently in the interest of... ...All the given factors... ...In aggreement... ...Profits being the prospect... ...Accrue... ...Long-term investment... ...To give freedom of feather to the grounded heart... ...I, the undersigned..." Dovetail handed him a pen, a feather pen, the nib dark and shiny with blue ink. Rocky, without a second thought, placed the point to the paper and scratched out his large loopy signature. The fluff of the feather tickled his nose as he worked, he rubbed the sensation off with his free hand. With a final flourish the contract was signed and Rocky straightened up to hand the pen back to Dovetail.
"Thank you very much, sir. And I hope you have... A pleasant day." Rocky didn't notice a sort of ominous twinkle in Dovetail's eyes as he slipped the contract into his case along with the quill, tipped his hat with a short bow and took off at a trot.
Still grinning broadly, feeling the day just couldn't get any better, Rocky felt the unpleasant itch the feather pen had brought on his nose return inexplicably. He twitched it, rubbing it furiously with the back of a forefinger, but it only made the sensation worse. The tingling was spreading now and with a stab of fear he noticed little bumps were climbing up his arms and everywhere, like goose bumps, yet... Something was very, very wrong. The bumps were swelling. Rocky thought anxiously of an allergic reaction, then he noticed something about the bumps. A development that fast put them out of the range of a normal medical ailment. Tiny hairs were forcing their ways through the head of each blemish, no, not hair... As the things grew longer and longer, little barbs sprouted all along them. The barbs fanned into vanes. They were feathers. He was growing feathers! All over, they were sprouting, he could feel them, see them causing protrusions beneath his clothes. And as the weight of his clothing caused the feathers to bend in their growth, an unpleasant sensation shot through the nerves beneath his flesh. It was nasty, like having a finger slowly bent the wrong way, it was building up to pain. He had to get his heavy jacket off! His hands were now covered in feathers, he fumbled with the buttons his fingers were thinner and longer than usual. As he looked down he noticed the ground appeared to be drawing nearer and nearer...

Geez, what a gullible guy, but I guess that's to be expected, considering what he's turning into. ;)

Well, you preen ones feathers enough, I think they'll pretty much do anything you want ;p Heheheh. But still, another good lead off in the narrative which bridges the events of the story with that of the pictures, and I didn't catch it until you pointed out, but the running image/story point of the "fog" on the top of the image is quite clever but I admit it was easy to get overlooked until closer observation...
Although, it doesn't help my mind is a bit hampered by a number of factors at the moment, but still quite good as we round up on the ending.
