Whooops I'm making/having heavy assistance in a partial of Sweet some time this year! Though the arms will be tailor-fit closely, with short-length fur..a-and she has hairless rat feet. In any event, I love me some toony and silly 'suits :p but it's a personal taste, I suppose. Wearing a thickly-padded suit with skinny jeans is indeed a silly idea, but I think anything looks pretty cute when in person!
I've seen plenty that don't look retarded.
I'd like to hope mine are included in that.

i saw a girl once. little itty bitty skinny girl wearing a super tight jacket, super tight pants and small shoes, and then these HUGE hand paws and an enormous head that was obviously meant for a full. i was actually gonna do 2 more of these, one of which being fulls with super tiny heads
wearing any sort of suit bothers me in the first place but im not about to tell someone they can or cannot do something they enjoy. i just think its fucking stupid to dress up as an animal ... no offense to anyone that does BUT anyway I agree big heads feet hands and whatever else with those fucking emo-faggotry clothes. your just asking to be shot by the columbine kids part 2

Probably - but the people that just live to piss others off or trash someones lifestyles are just all around unhappy people to begin with - they think that if they dont do it it shouldnt be acceptable for others to partake in it. i have nothing wrong with furs, obviously, i just dont find the whole fursuiting thing appealing - but theres some people that will go out of their way to list everything thats wrong with it and get upset if someone else enjoys it
I concur. poofy arms going into skinny shirt/jeans with huge paws look...odd. Then again, suits in RL sneakers can look odd too.
Happy feet are a cheap solution, as are baggy clothes. As cliche as they are, the baggy pants with a zillion chains and straps can work. You kids these days :) I like hockey jerseys. I'm curious if oversize hospital scrubs would work too.

Skinny jeaaansss....Lol. I'm so glad my partial doesn't have feet, he wears shoes, which are slightly longish, but not quite as bad as GIANT FURRY FEETS. XD I love it even more when people wear the neckflap of the head OUTSIDE the shirt, like...hey....that would be your skin/fur if you were REALLY an animal person...why is it hanging outside your clothing?!!?! O_O
I dunno I've seen really cute partials before. And even if they aren't cute, it doesn't really matter. As long as they are having a good time and enjoying themselves, why is it your job to make them feel down about it. =\ If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. :)
