Was painting this on and off for a few hours, saving scaled-down jpegs as I went, just cos I kind of want to know how I do things so that I can, y'know, replicate them again.
I got to the third step here, was merrily painting away, making sure to save a few times (I instinctively hit ctrl+S every minute or so), and then I realize:
I've been painting on the scaled down version. Which I saved over my big file.

Got over it pretty quick though - for the way I paint, it ain't the end of the world, but I took it as a sign that my brain was on automatic, and it's like 2:45am here, so I think I'll go to bed and finish this tomorrow. C:
