The third king of High Mountain. He felled Rodok the Giant and was later brought down by Zurkut the Powerful. He was known only as The Sky Piercer during his reign, while his given name is Slate. His dear friend and adviser would often call him Marbles, though, due to his hobby of collecting them. He was known as a brilliant strategist and archer, often manipulating stone and metal to form a powerful bow. His combat prowess would knock down many would be successors, leading to a longer than average reign as king. His eventual fight with Zurkut caused a large amount of magical energy to course through him. While he had the ability to use magic he only had enough energy to create his bow and arrows, and not much else. The surge of outside energy kicked his mana production into overdrive, and his body couldn't keep up. His once stony body quickly crumbled, causing him to faint and lose his fight with Zurkut. While most High Mountain kings are killed and replaced, Zurkut assumed the pile of cloth and rubble to be a corpse. Zurkut ordered the now former adviser to carry the mess away and to never return.

Slate remained in a comatose state for around 3 years, his body being slowly repaired by his former adviser as he traveled away from High Mountain.
