In this scene a contingent of Ileyean Bloodhound xenobiologists and Sen expeditionaries are exploring an interesting artifact, a large, natural gravity crystal. The exotic material, luminescent with Cherenkov radiation and exhibiting unique effects on the local strata, is sampled for purity using special radiation-hardened allmatter tools. Gravity crystals, only theorised by humanity as Gravinite, is especially important to the fledgling lensed-gravity technology of the Sen. They are the result of binary quark star tidal forces, so are rarely discovered, especially on the surface of worlds were they create unique impact craters.

Bloodhounds and Sendividuals share many physiological similarities, being both normally bipedal and having similar sensory and manipulatory appendages. While they breathe a different atmospheric composition to each other, and have different dietary requirements, vehicles and expeditionary vessels have been developed that can accomodate the needs of both species, without inhibiting quarantine conditions that prevent cooperation.
