A Contract Penned by Quill- Pigeon TF Part 1/4
Random sequence time! It's a total anomaly, the way this sprang from my brain, it grew up in much the same fashion as sequences past (Cat's Cradle and Change and Twirl and Spin most predominantly) but it sort of surpasses most of them in different ways...
At any rate I began by choosing the very first animal that popped into my head, don't ask why "pigeon" was flitting around in there.
So, this confident, yet underneath wholly insecure, gentleman is the unwitting victim of some magical mischief-- Apparently within his business dealings, which, by the look of that finely tailored jacket and silk tie, appear to be fairly fruitful...
**************************************************************************
Rock Columby always felt he was expanding his horizons, building a corporate empire to the skies. He's worked ten years in the land development business and things were only looking up. His company had just received rights, after months of pointless and irritating debate with "those hippie conservationists" in the neighborhoods surrounding the area in question, to bulldoze a large and ancient forest in the middle of the city to make room for yet another office complex. Yes, Rocky had a spring in his step as he walked away from the site having consulted with the architect and crew manager. All he needed to do was to sign his approval on the blueprints when they were finished after lunch and that ugly old forest would be gone within the week. 'You're reachin' new heights, Rock!' he thought giddily to himself, scattering a few squirrels in the wake of his proud stride. This building would be the highest yet in the city. What the dismally rich man never realized was that his amassing of money, his ambitions to climb the ladder of power, could only take him so far. He would always just skim the bottom of the smoggy clouds, no matter how far his sky-"scrapers" aggressively stacked their hideous amalgams of screaming steel girders and brick and glass, the cover may only be reached, punctured, run through, but in the pursuits of power and personal glory no man may ever truly leave the vaporous banks of mist behind.
With clouded eyes Rocky "climbs". He pushes and shoves, knocking his fellows down on his way to the "top" not knowing that he was really only digging his heels deeper and deeper into the infertile muck and dirt, he was only chaining himself to the earth. Rock was grounding himself.
If he truly wished to fly... There's only one way.

Wow, random indeed. Still, for a random idea, you still produced a fleshed out back story and buildup to the ongoing narrative, played out in the images as well as the other three parts. Quite impressive really.
How you've drawn Rocky (pre-tf) is quite a nice little turn, as he has a nice lean, bird-like structure about him, especially with the beak-like nose. Of course, the general and gradual changes in this part are quite nice, as we see hes smaller in certain proportions, and feathers popping up about randomly in his hair and over his hands. Off to quite a good start.
