When Jessica and Carla first started their security consulting agency, many private eyes call themselves that, Jessica was primarily the go out and interact with folks person and Carla did most of the paper trail work. Over time both became better at each others job but Jessica still more likely to do the face to face stuff.

Since their profession brings them into contact with wide variety of social circles and groups Jessica has a pretty diverse wardrobe. This is an outfit she wore while investigating a case many years ago. It involved moving in some of the club scene. She usually wore a jacket with this outfit which concealed her pistol, but even so she was working under pretense of being someone who did many illegal things so really didn't care about firearm laws.

In reality she does have a CCW and at the time was very careful about keeping it. Of course now she is deputized Federal Marshal so it is little easier for her to carry.
