I read Doe of Deadwood https://www.deviantart.com/songdog-.....-Pg1-721817621 recently and it’s easily become one of my favorite comics– and more importantly, one of my top favorite ‘sapient’-animal pieces of media. I can’t tell u– as someone passionate abt ethology and proper nonhuman rep– how refreshing it is to see this level of nuance when it comes to the social dynamics of different species and their interspecies relations. esp the predator/prey dynamics, which I honestly have NEVER seen properly handled in any other similar kind of media, so fucking kudos there

anyways, if y’all haven’t read this comic yet, I HIGHLY recommend it, but TW for gore/death. personally I think the art style makes the gore less graphic, but I’m also p hardy to that kinda content, so tread carefully if u are sensitive to that stuff
