Two years ago I submitted a piece featuring our proud blue hedgehog friend facing a world much larger than he's used to, a shocked, slender figure, clutching at sleeping-bag sized socks, shrinking into the depths of his trusty running shoes. The work garnered the attention of a friendly macro/micro enthusiast who, in their much appreciated comment suggested an alternate picture, namely one that featured a growing Sonic instead. I considered the matter, but never got down to actually doing a full-fledged pic- Then some six months later I was sent a nice note by another macro/micro fan that suggested the same thing- I replied to the user... I promised I'd do the request (as I do for so many users) and, as 2008's policy would have it- I assured the request would be in before the year was out...
FAIL.
Yes, indeed I never got down to doing the request- I am sorry about that to the user,
Pawz But I recently heartlessly stated that all requests had been cancelled- The prospect of facing them "too great a burden" for me...
...All that aside though, I got inspired to do this pic, I have no idea why...
*facepalms so voice is muffled* Me and my stupid drama. Please ignore all that and enjoy the pic if you so wish.

Very unfamiliar grounds for this koopa to tread upon, I don't think I'll be trekking this path too often in future... But- We'll see... We'll see the assaults of strange inspiration my mind is beset by.

Well, don't see much of this coming from you, but this is a BIG development alright. Yep, one GIANT leap for innovation and imagination...shows us all whose LARGE and In...okay I'll stop with the puns ^^;
Anyway, it is something different, but I think its very interesting, as you show your control of proportions as well as your practiced use of expressions (for good comic effect ;3). As for Sonic growing, its an interesting character to enlarge, seeing how the only thing he'd grow out of is his shoes and socks (and hence, big bare feet of his). But what really caught my eye was the choice of background. Was this on purpose or just something random, because it reminds me of Mickey In Wonderland (oooollllllllld cartoon) which goes right along with the Wonderland like theme here (Although, I recall the potion making it go the other way, but hey, maybe it went past its expiration date XD). Otherwise, it was awfully nice of you to do this request. Sure it might've taken some time, but from what you put into it, I think its worth the wait. Great job
