For those of you interested who aren't local to the four corners area. There was an actual U.S. highway with the number 666. Running from New Mexico and into southwestern Colorado. Some were superstitious of the number and in the year 2003, the number had changed to a less thrilling number 491.
So for a while, people could joke around about the road being the "Highway to Hell"...
