So there was once a Manaphy that had an obsession over getting herself eaten by snake pokemon. She would find countless ways to succeed in doing so. She caught a glimpse of Xeno and Yalini (Cero's younger brother and his brother's girlfriend respectively) and made it a habit to trick either one into nomming her despite their resistance to the young lass' demands.

Cero is part of the Triforce Snivy Siblings and is the eldest sibling among the three. Cero thought to help out his brother and fiancee by nomming Lorale himself. He would attempt to control Lorale's wild obsession of getting eaten by snakes (Pokemon or actual snakes) by having her get nommed by only Cero. Cero tends to have a big appetite so he doesn't mind fitting the Manaphy in his lava gut. Lorale's reaction wasn't very pleasing after a while with this snivy. His innards are under volcanic conditions, so anytime she was eaten, she would place a magic armor of temperature to prevent the harsh environment of Cero's stomach from digesting or melting her away.
