Trip from last fall down to the Channel Islands. This was my third attempt at visiting the islands, and to this day I have still been unable to actually land on any of them. The cruise around it was nice however-ran into two schools of dolphins, one with perhaps four bottlenose dolphins, and another with at least twenty short-nosed common dolphins that began checking out the ship I was on. Totally worth the rainy, tumultuous trip that knocked 80% my fellow cruise-goers out of commission. In other news, I learned that I don't easily get seasick.
