We had to take a still live and incorporate our own Characters.
I picked to do Sacha, my leopard spotted Naga
This was done on stretched Archers Watercolor Paper using Acrylic Washes
it's about 12 inches by 8.5 inches

INHO I think you could work a little more on the asymmetry, just doesn't seem that proper to me, right side is just busier than the left and lots of space on the upper regions.
Hope I did the critiquing well, I don't often do it, lol.
Now, all in all it's a magnificent piece, plenty of detail - such as the skull and the different horns - really make it pop.

this image is more about the composition and being asymmetrical (meaning not equal on both sides) what will help define all that are my darks, i need to make them darker still in the upper left side and the lower right to fully balance the image and the vaules of the piece.
When working from a still life it's weird and kinda hard to get things to be PERFECT and that is why you move around and pick the best part to draw. The reason for this image is to have all the element draw the viewer into the center, the basket handle, the top of the basket and flow, the skull moving upward, all lead you to Sacha, the focus of the image ^^
