Electric Sheep 6/1: She’s gonna want to hear about this
In case it’s not clear, Marigold is fidgeting because Lenny called them “scrap”. She doesn’t say anything because he does, in fact, work at a scrap yard, but she’s very sensitive about what people refer to de-commissioned bionics as.
Lenny’s pretty sure that conversation is out of his pay grade, but he means well.

If beauty is pain, this comic is gorgeous. XD;; Between being overworked and going full-tilt on a bunch of comics at the same time, I MAY or MAY NOT have hurt myself. Because this one is purposely less time consuming, I’ll probably focus on Electric Sheep and just sketches for a while.

Good question! A big part of it is to make sure they feel like they have autonomy - she wants them to be able to make their own decisions when they’re with her. Also, for someone like Claudia, they might be more worried about melting from the inside than being quietly decommissioned and turned into scrap while asleep.
