I spent the day working on this. I don't know why I made it, i guess i just wanted to try out my music software. I'm open to feedback as always. Why not post it to soundcloud or spotify? I don't know. I guess i just like this website more. The song is called Walking in The Darkness, and it is 2 minutes and 38 seconds long. I don't know what genre my song would fall in so i just put it under other.
I came up with the song's first two bars and built off to make it full length. It was originally supposed to be a sad song, but when i hit a roadblock making it longer, i decided to turn it into a sort of remix. Most all instruments were made with a synthesizer except for the piano, which was sampled from my grand piano as the original piece was impossible to be played by a human.

I like what you got going there with the main riff on the piano. But a little bit of critisism: When the second main synth sets in at about 1:16 I would turn down the volume on this one. The synth that sets in right there is too loud compared to the rest of the mix. It cuts off a lot and fights with the frequencies of the main melody and the percussion. Allways consider what your songs sound like in an emotional sense, with the perspective what the listener thinks and/or hears.
But in perspective: The song is nice, the drum could use some variation but as soon as the 2nd melody sets in it developes quite nicely. (I especially like the extra bar you added in the end to let it kinda ring out, which makes it interesting)
Not trying to be an ass here, just a few things you might wanna consider, depending on what you are trying to approach here. Hope this helps and keep it up. :)

You're not at all an ass. I am very open to constructive criticism and am willing to take advice to help improve. I knew the synth was off though i couldn't really pinpoint exactly why, that makes much more sense now looking back. As for the drums, you got me there. I couldn't really find a way go give them more substance. It might have been that i had never worked with this tone of music before. But yeah, some variation could've really put the song into motion. l have always had problems with composing drums when it came to the melodical climax. Thanks for the tips and suggestions, as it greatly helps me improve as an artist.
