Stock, flipping the laser from the rear to the front.

I never did see the point of a rear laser, just torso twist and lever an arm back and you've got an LBX-10 covering your six.

I can get behind the idea with aerospace fighters, but only if it has some punch.

Yeah, but the Delta actually has a rear-facing armament with some punch...though I usually face them all forward.
