So, this one needs a little explanation. I've been working on a fantasy story and the world around it for over a year now. The first sketches date back from halfway 2018!

The story will be called 'Waffles' and is about a possum named Waffles. She's the grey possum sitting at the bar (I know those are not possum ears. She's half mouse half possum. She refers to herself as possum)

This is how they prefer to celebrate the turning of the year. During the day, they go out to catch Solstice Shades, the glowing butterflies in those jars. They are used for light during the celebrations, and at midnight, they release them all at the same time and watch the spectacle as they fly in a big swarm over the city.

The three characters at the bar are from the soon to be main cast.

From front to back:

Waffles (main character, 16, adventurer, possum)
Caimy (second main character, 17, adventurer, race yet to be named. Has been dubbed fire-lion-flower-thing before)
Weiss (Ferret, 17, adventurer, secondary character, generally crazy)
