Hey guys, how was everyone’s New Year’s? I’m sitting here recovering from a minor foot procedure on both feet, watching The Resident. My guys won’t stop ragging on me for doing stuff myself, frustrated I don’t ask for help. They’re not thrilled I’m going back to work on crutches. Not even sure I can get my boots on over the bandages. You should see my recovery shoes. They’re the sexiest things ever.

We’ve started working on the comic again (which has a new name), but it’s a little slow going. Lots of ideas, lots of distractions, not a lot of help with direction. It’s a little frustrating. I just need the writing bug to bite me again. It’s coming. Pain isn’t helping, so I’m hoping this procedure helps. Unfortunately, I’ve got a bit to go before I’m dancing a jig, but I’m hoping I can at least walk comfortably.

Sorry to hear you're having foot problems. I can relate. I've got dermatofibroma on the bottom of my left big toe and the ball of my left foot. They're being removed in a couple of weeks and I'll be out of work for 2.5 weeks afterward. I want to wish you a speedy recovery and hope that nothing more happens to you so you can do what you want.

For the most part, I've been cleared of my foot issues as of this week, they've done all they can and a lot of my current pain has to do with nerve damage in my back. I do still have another surgery in the future, but I'll be out of work for a while and given my new position, I can't swing that. Might do research and just get a damn wheelchair lol, but I've got more pressing medical issues to address first, so it's back-burnered
You have my hopes that you'll have a full and complete recovery. Since I wrote my earlier comment, I've had my surgery and recovery. My podiatrist says that my toe has recovered as well as he could have hoped. My toe doesn't have a sense of touch numbness but that should return. I'm walking as well as I was before the surgery which is also good. I'm sure that you'll be running like an Olympic runner as soon as you complete your recovery. (I'm too old to even remotely hope for walking alike an Olympic walker. LOL.) Good luck to you again.

I think you think I'm younger than I actually am. lol. I'll be happy to walk my dogs without hobbling. Glad to hear you're doing better after recovery. I got into a minor car accident yesterday and slamming on the brakes fucked up my toe (arthritis). I think my chiropractor is gonna kill me when he hears I didn't call him immediately to get checked. lol, I start intense PT for my back tomorrow o.o eek!
Wow! Your luck sounds almost as good as mine. LOL. You may not be a youngster (I guessing you're at least 35.) but I doubt you're in my league yet (I'm pushing 65 so hard it's about to fall over.) I am glad to know that you're doing relatively well despite the auto accident. I look forward to your next drawing/comic update that will be uploaded as soon as YOU believe it's time. Take care of your health so you'll have many more years to do what you enjoy doing.
