“A Friendship Festival?” Sunset asked as she waddled down the road with her two companions, feeling her large belly sloshing side to side.

Twilight nodded back. “That’s right. Our first annual festival dedicated to the magic of friendship. It’s going to be held shortly after our next Winter Wrap-Up. Though, it is still in early in the planning stages.”

“Yeah, we want to plan way ahead of time, since we do have a history of attracting… eh… unwanted attention,” Starlight remarked.

“Understandable.” Sunset shrugged, thinking back to her own adventures.

“So,” Starlight continued, “We should be prepared for anything… from wild creatures to dangerous storms.”

“Well, I’m sure it’ll be great! I’ll definitely be there… as long as I don’t have a test to worry about that day.” Sunset replied with an embarrassed grin.

“It’s fine. We know how busy you’ve been.” Twilight smiled. “As much as we’d love for you to make it, we’ll understand if you can’t be there.”

“Yeah, if you can be there, great! If not, at least we’ll save on food.” Starlight joked as she gently prodded Sunset’s massive gut. All three friends began to laugh.

“Yeah, well you’re both ones to talk,” Sunset retorted back playfully. “When was the last time you two fit into your old outfits.”

“Hey, for your information, we’ve been losing plenty of weight,” Twilight smirked. “At least we’re not still swelling up like balloons.” She stared back at Sunset’s flank, which wobbled with every hoofstep.

Sunset blushed back. “You think that’s impressive? You should see the others.”
