Was inspired again by some really good vore art, and decided to write something longer with an overly gluttonous pred. Went with a mage college as the setting, August as the pred, and three of my recurring characters as the unlucky students/snacks! Will be posting all four parts over the next few days, and here's the first. Involves implied permavore as a heads up!
Next Part
Liam, Derek, and Kyler plot to steal valuable tomes from their college, until Professor August interferes, hungry...
Permanent Detention (Part 1)
By: Indi
There was little light in the deepest parts of the mage college library even during day, so of course at night it was worse. Three hovering globes lit up three nervous mages, their eyes darting frequently to any odd shadow that caught their eyes. They were students, but their presence so late at night in an area normally restricted would’ve immediately aroused suspicion.
And justifiably so considering what the three were planning.
“I don’t know about this, guys,” Kyler, an orange-and-white rabbit, said. He was tapping a paw on the floor, his gaze aimed backwards more often than forwards. “We’ll be in deep shit if we get caught.”
“Caught by who? We’re the only ones down here, idiot.” The disdain came from Derek, a gryphon. “You’d better not be thinking about wimping out. Unless you really want to vanish onto my waistline like Reid did.” He grinned, and Kyler couldn’t help but look down at the plump gryphon’s belly.
Reid had been a fox and fellow pupil, one with the keys to get past certain locked doors that led to the restricted area of the library. Kyler hadn’t cared much when he’d been gulped down by Derek after they stole his keys, but he didn’t plan on joining him.
“Don’t worry Kyler, this’ll be a breeze.” The leader of the trio, a red panda named Liam, finally spoke up. “We’ll snag a few of the most valuable tomes, sneak away without anyone seeing, and make a mountain of gold selling them. You’ll make more in a night doing nothing than you would in years.”
Liam’s voice was calm and reassuring. Yet his doughy middle gave away how quickly he could become a voracious glutton. Kyler knew he’d end up eaten if he gave up now, despite the fact the other two were sort of his friends. Besides, how could he say no to so much gold?
“Sorry, sorry, guess I’m just paranoid,” Kyler relented. He did become a bit less jumpy, comforted by how rich he was about to get.
“It happens,” Liam said. “Alright, come on, Derek, we’ve got some books to swipe.”
Liam and Derek ventured deeper into the library, leaving Kyler alone in a dim cone of light to keep a watch on nothing. He had no way of knowing there were eyes on him the entire time.
From a shadow on the wall behind Kyler the head of a gray and white snake poked out. Professor August had been lurking in the library far later than usual, foregoing a lamp for a night vision spell. He’d been surprised by the presence of three of his pupils, especially as none of them worked in the library—or were particularly studious. So he’d hidden, and listened, and overheard their entire plan.
If August hadn’t been there by chance they may have succeeded, the theft overlooked or attributed to professionals, not students. Unfortunately for them, they’d immediately been found out by someone with no qualms of dishing out some delicious justice.
August left the shadows entirely, quietly strolling right up behind the oblivious Kyler. “Are you lost, Kyler?”
The rabbit practically jumped at the sudden voice. He turned and backed up, a clear look of guilt and terror on his face. “N-No! I, I mean yes. I mean…” He fumbled and stuttered through half-finished excuses, but couldn’t remember the one the group had come up with just for such an unlikely situation.
“I see.” August swiftly wrapped his long tail around the rabbit, securing him with ease. Kyler wiggled and whimpered, squeezed just firmly enough to not be capable of crying out. “Stealing from the college is a very serious crime, Kyler. One worthy of expulsion. But don’t worry, I only plan on putting you into detention.” He smiled as the captive rabbit calmed down slightly. “Course I’m not sure you’ll ever leave it~”
August opened his maw wide so Kyler would know exactly what was about to happen. Kyler’s struggles intensified, and the pitiful excuses and pleas renewed. They ended the moment his head was engulfed.
Warm breath and saliva pelted Kyler’s face as a swallow pulled him into the dark gullet of his professor. He thrashed as strongly as he could, which wasn’t much considering how well he was bound. He could feel the grip of August’s tail loosen around his shoulders seconds before they were swallowed. As the rabbit steadily descended into August’s stomach, he cursed himself for going along with Liam and Derek’s plan. Unless the professor was simply trying to scare him, he might never see the light of day again.
Back on the outside, August’s flat middle was swelling outward. He wore an open vest, allowing his new belly to balloon unimpeded, growing bigger and lumpier with every gulp. With his tail and mouth doing all the work, his claws were free to grip his gut, gently rubbing its expanding surface.
The snake tended to stay lean, but few things gave him more joy than a massive, bulging belly. Gluttony—especially at the expense of others--made him euphoric. So of course he never turned down the opportunity to consume a person whole. It was only natural for a snake, after all.
The more of Kyler he swallowed, the rowdier August’s gut became. It bounced and shook, the bulges of desperate punches faintly visible on occasion. The struggles didn’t faze August, who’d endured much worse in the past. Thanks to powerful enchantments his stomach couldn’t be pierced by spell or blade, so Kyler’s act of rebellion was little more than a free massage.
A pair of weakly flailing legs were gradually slurped up, until only Kyler’s footpaws remained. August nudged them in with his tail, jaws closing, a final swallow sealing the foolish rabbit away for good.
A gasp and a moan escaped August’s lips as he finished eating his pupil, a delighted grin upon his face. He’d never put much thought into gobbling up Kyler, but the rabbit was proving surprisingly filling. That or he was simply pushing hard enough at the stomach walls to seem more filling than he actually was. Either way August was happy.
August lifted his heavy gut up with both claws, feeling Kyler wiggle within helplessly. After a few seconds he dropped it, letting it fall and bounce, the weight threatening to send August to the ground.
The weight! An underappreciated bonus of a live meal as far as August was concerned. Even a particularly overindulgent feast wouldn’t have the same weight as an actual person, someone who might very well weigh just as much or more than him. Weight that’d be reduced to a thick soup, and then pure pudge. It was like he could feel the future pounds Kyler would be adding to his waistline...and his rump and his face and everywhere else.
It’d been a couple months since August had eaten anyone, and the unintended fast had made even a mundane meal like Kyler feel incredible.
There was a reading desk nearby, and August waddled over to it, his belly swaying from side-to-side the whole way. He rested his elbows on the desk and leaned over a little, letting his gut hang. He rocked his hips, causing it to swing like a hammock. The weight was trying to pull him down.
Inside, Kyler was struggling not to slip around in his prison. A pool of stagnant digestive juices soaked him, shallow but foreboding. The only comfortable position was on his back. He imagined August was leaning over, but hadn’t the faintest clue why. For a while he deluded himself into thinking the professor was going to throw him up, but no gagging or hurling or even coughing occurred. No, he was just being toyed with and enjoyed.
All hope of freedom was dwindling, which only made the rabbit fight harder.
August chuckled, using his tail to prod and rub his swollen middle. “The food really is the best part about this job,” he teased his meal. “It’s a shame you weren’t a little plumper. Oh well, I’ll just have to consider you the appetizer before my two-part main course. I’m sure you’ll be happy to have Derek and Liam joining you soon enough~”
The revelation did bring a sliver of solace to Kyler. He didn’t want to get digested, but if it was unavoidable he at least wanted the other two to suffer the same fate. “Damn it, I knew this was a bad idea!” Kyler fumed, slamming his fists against the stomach walls.
As his belly wobbled in fury, August smiled. He pushed himself up off the desk, delighting in the sensation of Kyler getting rolled around. Teasing the doomed rabbit was fun, but there was still more food on the loose, and August planned to keep on eating until he was immobilized.
“Detention’s still got room for two more fools,” August quietly told himself as he waddled off into the dark. Behind him, Kyler’s globe of light remained, illuminating an abandoned post.
