I love body inflation, but I noticed a lot of people into the fetish don’t really understand the physics of how being lighter than air works, so I thought I’d educate whoever I can.
When (We’ll say “a balloon”) is filled with helium, it’s still affected by gravity just like any other matter, so there can’t be a force inside of it that somehow pushes against gravity. What actually happens is that because it’s “lighter than air,” the heavier air above it want’s to get under it, so it wraps around and pushes up from the bottom.
Thanks for reading. Happy floating!

It's interesting still though. I mean, if there is no force inside the balloon, then how comes that the balloon alongside helium is suddenly lighter than the air? =3
I general I find Inflation and helium especially quite amusing. I mean the whole outlook of levitation or some sort of upside down gravity, where one could put a whole balloon pit at their ceiling and flood the room that way, are all pretty neato. I sure find the squeaky high pitchedvoice effect rather amusing.
Such buoyant subjects surrounding the gas and balloons in general are way cool, especially when combined with the imagination where you go into toony physics, magical transformations, nutty inventions and over the top situations in general.
I got a Totodile mascot named Shiny who loves balloons to the point where he'd not mind getting entangled and taken away or trapped and smoothered by them (ex:1 | 2 ). He likes rubberstuff for how squeaky and shiny it looks (ex:3 | 4 ) and he is quite endeared with the prospect of being carried around by the air (ex:5 | 6 ).
After all, balloons are such fun toys, and to get the same nice perspective of and as them is just lovely for a jolly kiddo like him. That's why his dudes call him sometimes a Totodilooner. He always carries them around and is eager to hand out balloons to make people smile. 🎈(-^.=.^-)
Reading about such things is always nice. Perhaps somebody like Shiny might make a fun character to work with for one of your stories in the new year? X3
