Yes I know this picture doesn't look great. I basically made it to ask for help with using alcohol based markers. I can identify issues with the picture (what is wrong with it) but I don't know how to fix them. The coloring is extremely uneven and blotchy. I tried to color it in fast so I wouldn't recolor any of the already dry parts but that just made the marker go streaky. Also I don't understand how the nose and gem stone look like completely different colors yet they are the same marker. Yes i did attempt to shade one side of the gem but the lighter side still doesn't look like the nose.

I'm begging for advice and will take any and all criticism as long as it's not straight up bullying. This is basically my first time working with these markers and I really want to get better with them.
