RenTek was a weapons mod series for Starbound that sadly never made it to Starbound 1.0.
Although Dilrax here, besides being a friend to me for over 7 years, was my mentor into Starbound modding.

Granted I had a sudden impulse to update his art after 3 years since I last did it for him, the title fonts are derived entirely from his RenTek assets and old profile pictures, so I cannot take credit for those. It has turned into more of a tradition at this time to provide him different versions of the art with the title fonts there or removed (which these will not be posted publicly but sent to him privately). So this art is gonna be labelled fan art for those purposes.

The labels here will be on the public version to be a sort of call-back to the old RenTek days.

Now I do have to share something about that gun he is holding.

I cannot show the gun in full as it was too large to fit in the picture, but it is an interpretation of what the pixel art of the C-Xeno Railgun would look like in high res from the starbound sprite. The c-xeno railgun was the last modded gun Dilrax and I worked on together before the RenTek mod series was shut down. Being the last gun we worked on together, I thought it would be fitting as an easter egg. Sadly the C-xeno railgun never made it out to public release, even though we had finished the gun with it being compliant to Starbound 1.0.

Btw  Cutesune Dilrax is still alive, maybe not on this website but he's still kickin'. He sadly no longer has an entire planet to help Reni sell.
