I really enjoyed the Steven Universe movie, but its crowning jewel was the villain, Spinel. At first, I saw this… angry, pink, rubber-hose character and was doubtful that I would like this new face. Didn’t exactly fit the appearance of ‘scary villain’ and I couldn't take her seriously.

Then I watched the movie and sure enough I was totally wrong, she is absolutely a scary villain and was all sorts of fun to watch—and had a great character arc and an even better score of music. Her song “Other Friends” is one I’ve listened to actually literally over 200 times for its delightfully evil, spooky vibes and her voice actress did a phenomenal job.
