The dull roar of conversation was dying down, punctuated more by the staccato bangs of décor being pierced and squeezed and stomped. While there were plenty of cleaners hired by the convention's organizers, there wasn't any good excuse to help out and lend a claw or ten to ripping up balloons. with her tail swaying behind her, the lioness picked up the large star printed balloon and gave it a strong embrace, her fangs baring through her smile, and a snarl gathering other's attention.

For those who value their sanity and don't follow politics, with next year being a presidential election year the US is almost certainly guaranteed one massive destruction of red, white, and blue balloons. This year is the Democrat's turn, lets hope they have a good one like last time. The idea for this piece however came from an incident I found rather amusing. A politician from Arizona caught some flak from a furry, tried to troll them, learned what the fandom is, and shortly thereafter got a 'sona. I had many laughs at it and thought both sides could use some more clawed members for their conventions to help with cleanup. So here we go.
