What?! It was supposed to be a joke?! Why never! I take all considerations very seriously! 🧐
Jokes aside: We did discuss if a bed warmer which could be mistaken for Philomela's shape was to be included there, as part of the paranoia & dealing sexual attraction towards his own creation that is the theme of this chapter and as a foreshadowing of the next chapter. But then we ditched it once it became clear what was going to be the available space to draw that.
