Hey, update. I'm not gonna be guilted or shamed for posting what some folk wanna think is a spoiler. if it matters that much to you, watch the show. I watched the show, I was inspired, I drew a picture while I was hyped and wanted to share it and be a part of the excitement of all the other hardcore fans I am friends with. you won't dictate my behaviour. There's the door. It's your responsibility to look after your sensibilities if that's something very important to you, not mine.

Its actually a HUGE deal that he has that sword . It sets up the future of the show and if you have seen clone wars you know how big of a deal the sword is to be a part of the show. I wish you would show some care to it being a spoiler since the show hasnt even been out for 24 hours and as a fan yourself I'm sure you wouldn’t want anyone to ruin the last episode of Mandalorian for you.

People who dont want to see spoilers stay off Twitter and Facebook. FA is that absolutely last place I would think to find star wars stuff considering its a FURRY website. Not everyone uses Twitter so it dosent matter if it’s trending or not .
The Dark Saber is extremely significant. If you knew anything at all about Star Wars you would know Sabine was the last person to have it. So how did Moff get it? Star Wars is a big fandom, and within our much smaller fandom, there are many who enjoy it. And some of us use this site as a social hub instead of places like Twitter or Facebook. This show is literally the best thing to happen to Star Wars this decade, so it will be seen everywhere.

Ep 8 was definitely my fav episode, amazing gunfight, trooper humour, franken R2 unit, jetpacks, MANDO FACE, exposition everywhere!!! And if Mando isn't weilding the darksaber by the end of S2 we riot.

But man can I just geek out on how friggin nicely that sits in the current cannon? Of course it would be a war trophy, it was legitimately on Mandalor, and it is such an icon of mandalorian style in the context of the ever present Force. Dude gonna train baby Yoda in the ways of Mandalor specific to his sect and the kids gonna do the Jedi thing cause of course he is, and is totally gonna get that sword and be a Mando Yoda. Excited.
I just want to say I really love the effect of the blade, it gives off such a semi-solid, projection kind of vibe and I'm digging it. It makes me want to touch it even if it meant I'd lose the fingers LOL.
Also, for the record, as someone who's not a superfan or anything of the franchise, I 100% wouldn't have thought this was a spoiler without the comments deeming it a spoiler. A lot of times I see art about something I hadn't seen/known yet, and it's only an "aha, I remember that picture now, I get it" moment after I actually see it happen in the movie/show/etc. I get you with that "I'm inspired and want to do this right now" feeling about making fanart; this is your space, the same way someone who was moved to make a post about it on their facebook or something is in THEIR space. It's their space to document their own lives, not to cater to the viewing pleasure of everyone else's. Avoiding social media at all is usually a good idea if you're passionate about something you haven't gotten to see yet.

Art is something that comes from the heart and it definitely hurts a bit, even after this many years of doing it and getting used to people wanting to make it about anything but the art.

I've felt that before; art feels so much like a part of your soul sometimes, it can be super draining to not have it get the response you were hoping for.
But there are also a LOT of people who rarely or never speak up who are loving your art and looking forward to it, guaranteed~

You're absolutely right, I agree with this, especially when its SJWs trying to dictate what we can say or think.
I wonder though, in a very specific case like this, concerning spoilers, if we agree that it is indeed my responsibility to look after my desire to be spoiler-free till after I get a chance to settle down after the holidays and get caught up, what's the best way to go about doing that if things that are spoilers aren't labeled as spoilers? You can't really tell what something is by a thumbnail. So I guess I'm just trying to feel around in this space, conversationally, to explore what the realistic options are concerning that problem?

It's a fair question and sadly not one I'm prepared to solve. Especially since I am in no position to decide what a fair resolution would be since I'm one of those psychos who enjoys spoilers because I like to be informed. Leftover behaviour from my old intel job perhaps. ROFL
People bitching about spoilers, lmao. Mind blowing. Its not like context was even given to this, sucks to be you if somehow you found this to be a spoiler. Its not like the artist wrote a big ol description to tell all the details of the show and what happened.

That's what a few folk have been pointing out. The only thing making it a spoiler is the people decrying it. To everyone else, it means nothing.
I've been struggling for over a year to find my art muse again and it took me to a dark place so I'm pretty thankful for Star Wars. But incessant tripe like frostbite have to come in and try to dictate people's fun under false pretenses. But being inspired by shit like this literally saved my life.

Its unfortunate that people are that way. I hope despite them, that you can just keep enjoying Star Wars and drawing all the things. ^^ I know how it feels to be searching for art muse, I've struggled with it a lot for probably two years now, on and off, and its definitely rough. I'll happily view and favourite your works that come from Star Wars art muse, its all lovely. :3
