My illustration for Ham-Chat, a Hamtaro themed zine! πΉ Hamtaro was one of my favorite things as a kid, so I was stoked to contribute to a zine dedicated to it! :D
For those who don't know, Ham-Chat is basically the language the hamster characters use in the anime/games. These words in particular were from one of my favorite childhood GBA games, Ham Ham Heartbreak :D Did anyone else play this game?
My assigned word was "Delin-q", which means "Bad". So I drew Spat being his usual nasty self. :P The tube that hes holding is the Love Meter from the Ham Ham Heartbreak game, which is what you fill up with rainbow love juice as you go through the game haha.

Exactly! I just haven't seen a lot of Hamtaro are on this website and I used to love it when I was a kid. I took a trip back in time when I seen this. Yeah it'd be cool if you did more in the future maybe a small little series or just random art with the characters it doesn't matter. The Simplicity makes it even easier.
