just for kicks, here's what Kriyu would've looked like if she still was a Glaceon to this day
also ye, that thing is a birthmark. It was there way back in 2008 but it got "lost in translation" when she became a rabbit-fox-thingy, which was before I started posting.
I added the facial fur in a semi transparent layer just for comparison purposes, you can see it if you squint.
Also yeah, no, to clarify Kriyu is not going back into a Glaceon~ she's still the weird hybrid furry thing she's become.

Yeaa! simply put it's because that thing became hair, and you cannot have birthmarks in a ponytail yk. I just decided I would drop it, since she didn't need any stand-out feature to distinguish her from other Glaceon, since, she was no longer a Glaceon to begin with hhehe
haha....yes. I'm somewhat of a fan of unique markings or extras on characters that develop from particular critters. One thing I think you could 'explain' is to mix in some Dragonair features for fun....while not a direct Pokefusion, it'd be a fun way to make unique designs of particular 'mons you enjoy.
