Something about the weather and the character's accent colors made me think of the aurora! So I kinda went with it for the background colors.

Still having an issue with my two computers. My drawing tablet's colors are ridiculously different than the colors on my primary laptop. I've tried calibrating both screens, and I'm certain it's my laptop's screen that doesn't have enough magenta in the tones. Everything pinkish goes totally flat and greyish for some reason. Let me know if this looks weird and flat and greyish because my drawing tablet had a lot brighter of colors and it freaks me out haha
