I've seen a lot of artists do something like this and so I thought I'd give it a try.
Back in 2009 I tried to draw a semi-realistic portrait of Karoon, spending 2-3 hours, I think.
I was kinda pround of it back then but it's obvious that I rarely draw in that style... I'm still not used to it but I tried anyways. I spent around 3+ hours on this one because I wanted to spend a similar time span.
Guess there is some kind of improvement but I still can't paint faces/skin to save my life :P

After all it was a fun experiment.
