DOH! I saw the title and didn't even read the body of your message before I HAD to already follow-up your Day of the Tentacle quote. :) I LOVED that game. Ironically, I had bought BOTH of the floppy AND the CD-ROM versions ages ago! hehehe (Still have them both, too!)

I think I need that for the band, Laverne, You know, like we could bite its head off, or whatever.

BEST. GAME. EVER. That and Sam & Max were my all time favorite games. So many awesome memories playing these games for hours with friends after school!

HAH! I have that on CD-ROM too!! :) I love the old Sam & Max game!! Ironically, my memories are mainly of playing those games at WORK (I used to sell computers at the time they came out and, well.. these games running on the computers were big sellers all-around. :)

I also remember playing a LOT of The 7th Guest and 11th Hour at the time.. and the lesser known REALLY creepy but VERY well done games like The Reaper (OH GOD I loved that game.. Christopher Walken was in it as well as a FANTASTIC intro with Don't Fear the Reaper playing), Myst, D. Ah good times.
