My two lovely foxes sharing a little kiss in the park.

I don't remember what or where the inspiration for this shot came from, but I loved how it turned out. It hadn't actually been that long chronologically from this picture coming into existence from when I did the two coupled pics of Vivien and Ark in Fox Pj's S1, and Vixen Pj's S3. Being as such I was in the mood to draw Vivien giving Fem!Ark a bit of love, so this came to mind and once I got part of the way through it I knew I wanted to go full color on this one.

Was working with the new source of lighting, adding in the usual effects with added shine on the brightest points, and some focus glow around the characters interacting. Trying new things further practicing techniques I've observed my favorite artist use and seeing if I can adapt and change them within my own work.

It was a company enclosed park, so the crew need not worry about normal human citizens becoming uncomfortable seeing anthro citizens without proper covering on. And I wanted to draw my two oldest characters sharing a tender moment, while also showcasing their pretty fur. Ark's fur is totally out of season for now, but so is all of the background.

I also worked decently harder on the background for this shot. The sidewalk, trees and shrubs were all made using techniques I've picked up from painting with Citadel paints on my warhammer miniatures. It was a progressive layering up from the darkest color to the lightest colors. Putting down a base for where the sidewalk was, then blocking out the panels, adding a bit of depth to the spaces, and throwing in some cracks and bits of grass. It was super fun and the tree's while still a little on the simple side I think came out well.
