I realized recently that I had posted nothing from any of my Angel and Knight dreamscapes in awhile on FA. Now admittedly I have been primarily having Andur dreams for the last few months and since my sketchbooks are primarily my dream journals I guess it is not surprising that we have seen much of Jessica, Carla, Twitch or the rest of the gang.
These are sketches are from a situation I've watched Jessica do many times. After a hard day of work or play getting herself ready for bed. Maybe it's a quirk of us older guys, but I find watching a pretty girl going through the rituals like this, either going to bed or waking up, to be amazingly sexy. It doesn't hurt that that night-shirt fits Jessica in such a splendid fashion, of course (or is it the fact that she tests it's capacity like that?). I think part of the attraction is that it's such a normal activity. It renders the character real, "human", as it were, makes viable the possibility that, if you're really, really fortunate, they might even be performing those everyday rituals in your own home.
I know, I truly envy you your dreamscapes. I meant more in the terms of the people looking at your images. By depicting characters in very normal, everyday scenes and settings, it makes them appear that much more real and normal for others. Pin-up work tends to feel "posed" and gives the characters the feel of models or actors, someone that your average person will never get to meet, much less live with, be friends with.
