The prince stood up and took a seat beside the window, sighing. The window was frosted and the view largely obstructed but the light trickled down on him and illuminated his face. 'When will I see you again?' he said to himself. 'When I am old, infirm and grey?' Just then his apparition appeared beside him and caressed his cheek.

'Patience, my dear. You need to have patience,' he said softly and sweetly, his voice still capable of bringing the prince to kneel. 'One day, we will see each other again,' a long pause ensued. 'Take care of our children, okay?'

The prince nodded. 'I will take care of them... I will! I will avenge your death,' he then turned to look and saw the apparition had disappeared. But, it was too late as his tears already began to roll down his cheeks.
