This must hurt quite a bit because you cant anesthetize the tongue as it would fall back into the throat and would make you choke.

oh it hurt. It hurt allot, and I didn't anesthetics, mainly I used benzidine. Not that strong but made it bearable.

Well it's healed up a bit, so I can't hold a round object quite as well, but I'm probably going t o depend it at some point when I can find a time where I don't need to talk for a month.
