Well, it's just a matter of practicing more.
I found a bunch of my old art earlier today and it was kind of crazy. Just awful stuff from when I was in 4-6th grade, all very looney toons style, then a bunch of high school stuff where I wanted to draw anime and wasn't very good at it at all, then early 2000s when it was anime collided with main stream american comic books and just me trying to figure out my own style. And at each point along the way I was practically relearning how to draw. And about three years ago I got a tablet and had to learn from scratch how to use that.
