this is a p simple dragon/fantasy au just for the excuse of drawing Kylo as a dragon, but here are some misc notes for the vague headworld I’ve got:

- dragons are particularly powerful magical creatures in this world, and were considered powerful allies of humans (esp the regal Skywalker lineage) for most of history, until one of the Skywalkers went rogue and killed off a huge chunk of human civilization (and dragons as well, but humans tend to leave out that part)

- Kylo got caught up in this continuous conflict, and was stolen at a young age by a powerful human wizard who wants to use Kylo’s magical power to usher forth another reckoning

- Kylo’s wings are broad and theoretically good for soaring, but he was stolen so young that he never actually learned how to fly. his wings are far too weak to pull his bulk into the air now, so he mainly uses them to swipe enemies w/ the radius-based spikes, and for quick maneuvering on the ground (like flapping to pull him into quick turns or leaps)

- Kylo inherited his horn shape from his momma :)

- and yes, his right eye is blind

- Rey is a scrappy ironsmith, with years of experience in repair and maintenance of various weapons and tools. her little village has nothing to protect them from incoming dragon attacks, so she takes it upon herself to confront the current terror of the skies. but what exactly is her plan in this picture?? we may never know ¯|_( ᐛ )_/¯ (except we kinda do now b/c cob convinced me to doodle a quick follow-up to this lmao https://dragimalsdaydreams.tumblr.c.....o-this-post-on )
