I'm afraid I don't have any of my sketches, none that have any good backgrounds anyway. I usually get rid of my sketches after I take pictures of them for my art. (I know that probably sounds weird but I don't like leaving sketches of my Furry art lying around.) But I can try to give you some advice; The best way to get better at drawing backgrounds (and drawing in general) is to either
A. Observe other people's art and look at what they do,
or B. Try drawing what you see in real life, bring a sketchbook and pencil next time you go out and try to draw what you see. People, animals, places, food, objects, ect. (There's a book called "The Drawing Lesson" by Mark Crilly that really shows how to do that, and it's a graphic novel.) Of course you should always practice practice practice. and over time you should improve. That's the best I can say to you. I'm actually still learning how to draw and probably always will be. I hope my advice helps you, and I'm sorry I don't have any sketches for you.
