Yule Night (Acrylic Colors)
Yule time has arrived once again and Yule Goat is travelling around the world of Karamador to give presents to all children. He at the moment happens to be in the town of Braheastad when he stops briefly to enjoy the silence, peace and beautiness of this Yule Night, while Sir Kiljaos the lion paladin alongside San the lynx cleric and Jen the cat witch happen to pass by on their way to Yule mass at the church of divine elements. Hopefully Krampus or other evil beings won't turn up to ruin this peaceful night...

This is the acrylic colored version of my christmas picture of this year, the other being wooden pencil colored. Both of these versions were my entries for a local christmas picture contest here in Raahe, Finland, but didn't achieve the prize positions...

The theme of the pictures were set to be christmas time in old town district of Raahe, so I made the drawing set in Braheastad, Kiljaos's hometown that is based mostly on 1600's Raahe. The church of divine elements to where Kiljaos, San and Jen are heading is based on the old church of Raahe that was built in 1650's and burned in 1908. The statue in the middle is based on the statue of Count Per Brahe, the governor-general of Finland in 1600's and the founder of the town of Raahe, the statue being made in 1888. I haven't decided yet who this statue represents in my fantasy world Karamador, but could of be the founder of the town too.
