Neon [Coloring Experiment]
So by the time I was about halfway through the shading I realized that my opacity level was much too high, thus resulting in dramatic changes from one shade to the next. I figured not to mess with it, though.

Few things that you'll learn eventually anyways.
Try not to shade directly towards black, even in monochrome pictures, just ends up making really hard and ugly colors. Try fading them off to the side, lose a little of the color, tends to make it a lot easier on the eyes. I think.
Also, a thing to avoid is Pillow shading. It's when you're shading towards dark using several blocky colors, so you can clearly see where the colors aren't blending. Thats not really something I know how to offer any tips on though, just get photoshop and try bluring near corners and stuff.
Lastly, Neon shit looks good, most especially on the eye.
