My girlfriend  verwelken and I have been doing some worldbuilding for over a year now in preparation to write a novel together, and inspired by friends and artists that I've met and consider friends, I'd like to start putting out some simple short stories, looking for feedback and to see if anyone is interested in these things. These short stories often are lorebits from the wayback times irrelevant to the plot of the actual story my girlfriend and I are creating. I enjoy doing these but, I can only go so far and do so much without feedback on how I'm doing.

In these short stories I will explain as little as possible outside the story, objectively I'd like you all to read it without any meta-knowledge as if you were a tourist. So for the first round of explinations,

Aurish Dragons are my OC subspecies of Dragon, and my contribution to her story. They are mammalian in nature, with fur covered bodies, warm blooded, they do not lay eggs and have feathered wings. They stand approximately 6 meters tall at the shoulder. Their fur comes only in Earth-tones (brown, grey, black, white, tan) They are a hunter-gatherer culture that practices Ancestor worship, they have no magical prowess nor elemental breath, though their healers and herbal medicine is quite renowned. They have fully opposable thumbs and are excellent tool-crafters but lack any knowledge about metallurgy. They live in a northern climate where there are 2 seasons, Winter, and Getting ready for winter.
