A festive feast on the holiday's eve.
It was an offer the he could not leave.
The Gronch decided to grant everywho's wish
Because he was eager to eat each dish.
He put on his Santa suit and grabbed a big sack,
So that later he'll bring home a snack.
Blue Santa's appetite was up to the deal.
He was the honored guest at the meal.
Happily, the Whos piled his plate
With great food that he gratefully ate.
They all were surprised at the outstanding sight
Of how the Gronch's belly grew throughout the night.
The clock struck midnight at the end of dinner.
The overstuffed Gronch was obviously the winner.
Still, he grabbed his bag to see what he could take,
But nothing was left, not even fruitcake.
Disappointed, he hefted his gut
And to his shock, he could actually get up.
Overcome with happiness that he did not quell
The Gronch waddled from the table and bids farewell.
