Background about Thornton:

Thornton was always fascinated with instruments ever since he was a kid. His father was a reowned musician and so he was always surrounded by different types of music. Though his Father was playing Jazz, Thornton chose to be a rock star instead. His father didn't really mind him picking that path, in fact he encourages him to follow his dreams. His Mother however, wanted to make sure that he had an education first in case his dreams backfire on him, so they had sent him to Pokemon Combat Academy to ensure that he gets a good proper education. Problem is that Thornton's a bit of a slacker and tends to not really do his homework much. He loves to take naps and when he doesn't nap, he's with his rock band rocking out.
