Legends of taste have always inspired Marzipan, pushing her to work tirelessly to bring flavours to Unicornia. For generations, her kind subsisted off of pure magic and though it kept them alive, it was deeply unsatisfying. The only enjoyment that one could glean was from grandiose designs, towering cakes and extravagantly painted candies. At creating such masterpieces, there are none more skillful than this mare. Keenly fixated on every intricacy, endless hours can be wiled away working. Fortunately, she is rarely alone as she has taken the young Pumpkin Spice under her tutalage. As a tutor, Marzipan can be impatient, however, she is never unkind and has even taken on a maternal role in the life of the mare. Once seen largely as irrelavant by many more powerful magicorns, she now stands in great renown thanks to her discovery. Channelling energy from a foreign plane, the confectioner was able to create a single flavour. To equestrians, this would be called Raspberry, however in the kingdom it has coined the name 'delight.' Now ponies would line up outside her shop for a chance to experience taste for the first time, paying handsomely for the chance to do so.
