In orbit
Blown into a space dive
A peaceful journey above the clouds
Down into the chaos of war
They want to kill me
My suit prepares
They fight and die
One hit is all it takes
I'm on the ground... Broken and confused
I feel peace within
They cannot defeat me
They do not see me rise
I have a job to do in the universe
I fight.
"Take a deep breath. It's your last. The instant you jump from the ship, you're a corpse. When you get to the ground, you're fighting to earn your life back"- Neferian "Pouncer" wisdom
The major song I've been working on for February; "Operation War", the theme track to
strype. Quite a lot of different movements and themes, I wanted to go for that story telling feel of him dropping down into a chaotic war zone, fighting for his life. Thanks to those that take a listen!

Oh goodness, it's like a climax to a horror movie, a glorious battle scene in a village/valley, a street-fight, a car-chase, and a massive sword fight, with some guns on the side, kinda like in Equilibrium, with some peace coming from resting and enjoying a nice village helping it out, and then losing it, and gaining glory climbing to the top of a monument to fight the emperor of some evil empire, succeeding and gaining the crown and taking his wife. then moving to leading troops to battle like Alexander and leading them to glorious victory.
did I miss much?

Those three horn blasts at the 2 minute mark sound so immensely spectacular in a monumentally epic fashion that can not possibly be played too loud!
I really like all the movements incorporated in this, it really makes for a storied theme. I can just close my eyes and a story is written to this.

OMG, Beautiful, dazzling, paw grabbing, ravishing, wonderful, astonishing, awe-inspiring, fascinating, suspenseful. Is this some huge composer in the film business behind the fur. Holy cow damb your getting good Foxy! You MUST get in on the contest pleeeaassee, I think you would do awesome!
I can only say that I really wanted to actually go out and film this sequence in my mind, as you have described it to me. It's just plain exciting - and I-DO-EPIC! And for me to want to -shoot- something after hearing it is rare, the only other piece I think I wanted to do that with from you was WOTS. Very well done - now, take a break XD
Oh... fuck... yes... as a Warhammer 40K junkie, I really have to say, this sounds EXACTLY like the feel of a drop pod assault. I mean, it's fucking insane. Starting with the calm silent battle prayers, followed by the moments before the fire starts, falling in the pods, then BAM straight into the thick of the fire. You have the calmer moments of respite between engagements... it's all so perfect...
Sounds like I"m in a roller coaster. Is it me or did I hear a Dune reference at the end?
It takes very little to hear the breathing before a soldier is thrown into chaos. Heat, sweat, bile and that is only what smells and and the senses are picking up in the individidual soldier. The fear is papable to thrown aside the qualms of not coming back must be felt and through this music it is hard not to see and hear and feel. The thrust into the light is now in darkness, flashes of safety come only thorugh the eternal sleep. The bell tolls for the green ready set go. Come through this hell only to glimpse a little sweet heaven. Come forth and see what life has to offer and run for your life.

I'll be honest, I'm split on this one. It's hard to grasp the constant changing for a musical piece but with it representing actual combat where nothing flows the way it should, it totally fits.
Not your best but not your worst. Still worthy of listening to and envisioning the firefight.

Sounds like something that would belong in World War III: Black Gold. The Gist of it is: World Oil Prices Skyrocket, US Invades to grab oil, Russia Takes advantage of the Situation and finally all nuclear hell breaks loose killing billions and causing the largest war crime and making WWII Look like a Harmless Boarder Skirmish.
AHHHHH!!!! On a scale of 1 to 10 for this you get OVER 9000 And answer this for me, how are you not making theme for movies yet! You have such talent, gah! I can honestly say you are my favorite composer, you give me my daily dose of epic and beauty, please keep up the good work! I neeed music like this, it makes my day so much better ^^
So, as stated by those who came before me:
Pretty much fantastic. There are actual movie scores that use their synth setup less professionally than you do. Mad respect.
Out of curiosity, did you get your string samples through East West as well? I swear I've got that same build in my library...
